Operations Director

This position is for ambitious future leaders who will direct KAUPA to the next level. Operations Director must present his master thesis, the topic of which corresponds to the goals KAUPA.The roles include assisting KAUPA's activities, setting goals, preparing budgets, schedules, and other organizational reports as needed.


Regional Leaders (Nine Positions)

This position is to organize regional activities, help regional KAUPA members whenever needed, report news and activities at regional levels to entire KAUPA members, and identify new KAUPA members.
1. Northwest: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, and AK
2. Southwest: CA, NV, UT, AZ, CO, NM, and HI - Jaeyoon Kim
3. North Central: MN, IA, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH and KY
4. South Central: KS, OK, TX, MO, AR, LA, and MS - Seong Nam Hwang
5. Northeast: ME, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT, and NY
6. Central East: PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, WV, and VA - Junglim Lee
7. Southeast: TN, AL, NC, SC, GA, and FL - Bomi Kang
8. Canada West: YT, BC, NT, AB, SK, NU, and MB
9. Canada East: ON, QC, NL, PE, NB, and NSN


Finance Director - Yanghee Kim

This position is to provide leadership in finance and accounting strategy, optimize financial performance, and develop self-sustainable financial plan for future.


Planning Director - Seong Nam Hwang

This position is to develop various activities to build connections among KAUPA members and edupartners.cc affiliates, continue to strengthen the relationships with Korean organizations, communicate with organizations that KAUPA has worked with, and develop long-term strategic plan.


Membership Director - Munsup Seoh; Assistant Director - Jaewook Myung

This position is to manage KAUPA members, identify new KAUPA members, develop membership drive strategy, and communicate with members for important announcements.








Academic Director - Seok Kang

This position is to coordinate with the 18 major academics directors for academic activities, promote collaborations among KAUPA members, develop programs for educating next generation KAUPA members, and build strong relationships with Korean universities and research institutions.


Specialty Leaders (18 Positions)

This position is to build strong relationships among KAUPA members in the same field, organize scholarly activities such as conferences and consulting for special issues, help regional KAUPA members whenever needed, report news and activities at regional levels to entire KAUPA members, and identify new KAUPA members. The specialty includes: agriculture, anthropology (Helen Cho), arts (Emily Taehee Kim), business, dentistry, education, engineering, hospitality and tourism (Bomi Kang), human ecology (Junglim Lee), law and politics, letters & science, life sciences, literature (Sharon Kim), medicine, music, nursing, pharmacy, public affairs, public health, sociology (Angie Y. Chung), statistics and veterinary medicine. You may request KAUPA to create more specific field and become the leader.


Scholarship Director - Sangwon Suh

This position is to develop strategy for scholarship fund, promote endowed scholarship, and organize scholarship selection committee and determine awardees.


Technology Director

This position is to manage KAUPA website, post new technology information useful for academic teaching and research, and provide expertise on IT related issues to KAUPA members.

About the Positions

We are looking for the energetic and creative Korean-descendant faculty who are willing to contribute to KAUPA for good cause of contributing to the society with their talents and devotion.
